WHAT CAN COCOON WELLNESS SESSIONS DO FOR ME?

During a 30-to-40-minute sauna pod session, the Cocoons infrared technology can increase core body temperature to facilitate relaxation and sweating, uplifting feelings of greater wellness and greater health. HOW DO I CONTROL THE COCOON WELLNESS SYSTEM?

You can select from 5 convenient pre-set programs (Relax, Fitness, Wellness, Power Nap and Weight Management) that utilise different temperatures to suit your needs. A custom option is also available which allows you to adjust all the settings to your liking. During your session you can easily change the settings and intensity of your whole body massage as well as your temperature and face fan through two small openings.

HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED TO START SEEING RESULTS?

Results vary for every person.  Most people notice a difference after their very first session as they are so much more relaxed and rejuvenated. For more specific conditions, such as arthritis, fibromyalgia or back pain many people notice changes straight away, however, it normally takes 3 to 8 sessions to start noticing measurable improvements

1-3 SESSIONS

4-8 SESSIONS

You have started to unlock the powerful detoxification process. Your body is now beginning to eliminate surface level toxins more efficiently through perspiration. You’re raising your core temperature quicker and burning more calories.

9-16 SESSIONS

Your body is fully acclimated and the real magic has begun. Complete cellular detoxification is underway, eliminating harmful heavy metals. Aches, pains and stiffness are easing. Circulation has increased and your overall stress levels are down. Your skin is glowing and renewed. You are in a state of complete relaxation.

17+ SESSIONS

You’ve completed a lifestyle change. You can see and feel the results. You’re stress free, sleeping better, and detoxifying at a deep cellular level. Your body heals naturally from within and burns a high amount of calories every session. You’re living a happier, healthier life.

HOW LONG SHOULD I CONTINUE MY TREATMENTS?

Maintenance sessions are important to keep you in top shape. Once your goals have been reached weekly or fortnightly sessions are recommended. WHAT IF I HAVE DIFFICULTY LAYING ON MY BACK?

The Cocoon Wellness Pro has an Ergonomic Contour Bed.  Clients are always surprised that they have difficulty laying straight in their own bed but when in the Cocoon they feel comfortable. The vibration massage bed is ergonomically contoured and padded with foam cushioning to provide the most comfortable user experience. Evenly cushioned support eliminates any pressure points and provides the feeling of floating on air.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR IN THE COCOON?

Less is best.  Clients may wear loose fitting clothes, athletic clothing, swimwear, undergarments, or in the nude (clients will be laying on a towel during the session).   
Note: although the Cocoon Wellness Pro will produce ambient dry heat within the chamber, the main advantage of the sauna session comes from the infrared rays. Therefore, wearing appropriate clothing/minimal clothing is optimal for the infrared rays to penetrate through the body. Complimentary filtered water, towel use and access to shower is provided if you wish the freshen up before leaving the centre.

DOES THE TREATMENT HAVE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

Treatments are safe and effective, but with the heavy toxin release that the Cocoon stimulates, some may experience passing detox symptoms such as headache, fatigue or flu like symptoms.  These won’t last and is one of the reasons why sessions at the beginning of your treatment should be close together.  Be sure to stay hydrated after your session to help alleviate detoxification effects.
